- A bottle of SmoothieDog
- 200g spelt flour
- 4 tbsp oat flakes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 10g beetroot powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 355°F degrees.
- Mix spelt flour, oat flakes, olive oil and SmoothieDog with a dough hook to form a nice dough.
- Halve the mixture and knead the beetroot powder into one half.
- Then cut off two equal-sized pieces from each dough and roll them out on a smooth surface into snakes about 1/4" thick.
- Wrap the two snakes around each other. To ensure the dough strands are well connected, roll your two-colored snake again on the work surface.
- Cut off 5 - 6" long pieces and form them into your candy cane treats on a baking sheet.
- These now need to bake in the oven for about 12 – 15 minutes.

Store them in a dry place or freeze them to make sure they don't get moldy.
